Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. “1 John 4:17′

This verse states that as we abide in God, we can have confidence on the day of judgment, for we are made like Christ in this world. This verse emphasizes the importance of our relationship with God and how it affects our lives.

Knowing with a trustworthy, peacefully understanding that we are made like Christ in this world, we can rest assured that we have been chosen by God and have a purpose to fulfill. Our confidence is not based on our own abilities, but rather on our identity in Christ. We can walk in His footsteps, embracing His infinite love and compassion, knowing that we are became more transformed into His likeness while we keep humbling ourselves throughout His marvelous righteous Word and His Truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.

As we continue to abide in God, we can also find peace and strength to face our circumstances and challenges of life. We may know without doubt that we are never alone in our struggles, for God is with us every step of the way. We can have the insurance through our faith that God will work all things for our good, even the difficult and painful experiences. This knowledge gives us the courage to persevere, to trust in His plan, and to overcome any obstacle that may come our way.

Let us pray:

Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your perfect love that casts out all fear. I pray that Your love would be perfected in me, so that I may have confidence on the day of judgment. Help me to abide in You, that Your love may flow through me to others. Strengthen me to walk in obedience to Your commands, knowing that Your infinite love has been poured into my heart through Your Holy Spirit. May Your love be evident in my life, as I seek to love others with the same love with which You have loved me. Thank you Lord, almighty dear Heavenly Father. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
