What shall I render unto the LORD for all His benefits toward me?
“Psalms 116:12′
In this verse, the Psalmist expresses gratitude for the Lord’s salvation, acknowledging that he could never repay God for His goodness and mercy. The verse serves as a reminder that our salvation is a wonderful devine gift from God, freely given out of His infinite love and grace, and not something that we can earn or merit through our own efforts. This is so very encouraging that we give all honor praise and glory to our almighty sovereign reigning Heavenly Father.
The Psalmist recognized that no earthly offering or payment could ever repay the Lord for His abundant infinite love and grace. Despite this, we can still express our gratitude and love for Him through great sacrifice of praise. We can proclaim the marvels of His mercy and share the good news of our salvation with others. And above all, we can strive to do His will with a heart that is willing, obedient, and overflowing with love for our gracious, glorious Lord, Saviour and Redeemer.
God cannot be influenced by any human effort to repay Him for the eternal gift of grace that He freely gives us. We cannot earn or repay God for all His goodness and infinite loving, glorious, fulfilling ways that He shows us in our daily life. However, we can live a life that pleases Him by trusting His marvelous righteous Word and by His leading throughout His truth fulfilling Holy Spirit. We can let the love of Jesus Christ shine through us in our thoughts and actions, and bringing glory to our almighty, sovereign, reigning Heavenly Father forevermore.
Let us pray:
Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, I am humbled by Your fulfilling grace and infinite love towards me, and for all the wonderful things that I receive from You so abundantly every single day. I giving You all the honor praise and glory, and pour out my heart of gratitude to You for my great salvation. Help me to embrace myself to others of the wonders of Your grace and mercy, and to seek to do Your will with a willing and obedient heart that overflows with love for You. Thank You Lord almighty dear Heavenly Father for Your everlasting love and faithfulness. I pray this in Jesus name. Amen.
Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings through Jesus Christ, our wonderful, infinite loving, almighty, glorious dear Lord, Saviour and Redeemer, in who we faithfully abide, trust, believe, and abundantly do receive throughout His marvelous righteous Word and truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.
