2 Corinthians 4:17

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
‘2 Corinthians 4:17’

No one desires for a life full of issues, pain and suffering. Life happens to everyone regardless of your economic status or age. Painful experiences of loss, hardship, poverty, and prolonged illness can make us miserable and give in to despair.

People all over the world go through such experience. Believers are not excluded. In fact, the experience that we going through is a part of the Christian walk. We experience injustice, persecution, hardship and loss. Nevertheless, scripture exhorts us not to give in to despair or feel that God has forgotten us. Our purpose as children of God is to stay focused, stay motivated and encouraged by seeking God daily through prayers and by studying God’s marvelous righteous Word. The present affliction we are passing through is momentary. It is a phase of life that is fleeting and temporary, knowing with a trustworthy, peacefully understanding that God uses our experiences to work out His wonderful desirable, define will for our lives. When we go through all sort of experience in life we can totally trust on God that He is about to achieve something glorious and weighty. No matter what we going through nothing should make us worry nor distract us, other than aligning ourselves throughout the truth perfect ways of our infinite loving, sovereign, reigning, dear Heavenly Father. Our sacrifice is of no value when compared to the glory that is being achieved in us through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:18).

We should at all times rejoice in what God is doing in our lives and not focus on the circumstances around us.

Let us pray:

Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, I praise Your glorious fulfilling name because I know You are working things out for my good. Thank You for guiding me through Your wisdom and when I find myself  troubled. I bless You for Your almighty right hand that delivered me from all my afflictions. Lord, I ask for Your strength to persevere in the midst of my experience. Enlarge my capacity and help me endure hardship like a good soldier of Christ. Let me not be focused on the troubles that life throws at me; instead, help me to understand that my experience through the life that You leading me are bringing out an exceedingly great glory for You. Thank You for being my sustainer and refuge. You deserve all the honor, praise and glory forevermore. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious fulfilling name of Your beloved dear Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings through Jesus Christ, our wonderful, infinite loving, almighty, glorious dear Lord, Saviour and Redeemer, in who we faithfully abide, trust, believe, and abundantly do receive throughout His marvelous righteous Word and truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.
