And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the LORD will do wonders among you.
“Joshua 3:5′

Joshua 3:5 speaks of the importance of consecration and preparation before approaching the presence of God. In this verse, Joshua tells the people of Israel to consecrate themselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among them. This verse emphasizes the need for a holy and pure heart when coming before God, recognizing His power and sovereignty.

This verse is an invitation to draw near to God with reverence and awe, recognizing the holiness of His presence. The act of consecration involves setting oneself apart for the purpose of serving God and seeking His will. This requires a deliberate and intentional effort to put away anything that might hinder our relationship with Him. As we consecrate ourselves before God, we invite Him to work wonders in our lives and in the world around us.

May this verse inspire us to approach God with the same reverence and holy fear that Joshua called the Israelites to have. Let us take the time to examine our hearts and consecrate ourselves before Him, knowing that He is faithful to do wonders among us. May we have the courage and faith to step forward into His presence, trusting in His power and grace to lead us forward.

Let us pray:

Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, this verse fills me with reverence and awe as I approach Your presence. Your holiness and power are beyond measure, and I recognize that I am nothing without You. Please help me to consecrate myself to You fully, setting aside any distractions or idols that hinder my walk with You. Help me to listen attentively to Your voice and obey Your commands, trusting that You will lead me safely through the challenges of life. May I follow You with courage and faith, knowing with a trustworth peacefully understanding that Your presence goes before me and that You will never leave nor forsake me. Thank you Lord, almighty dear Heavenly Father. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious fulfilling name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings through Jesus Christ, our wonderful, infinite loving, almighty, glorious dear Lord, Saviour and Redeemer, in who we faithfully abide, trust, believe, and abundantly do receive throughout His marvelous righteous Word and truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.
