Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: “Acts 13:38′
In this passage of “Acts 13:38′, we see the message of salvation preached by Paul to a group of people in Antioch. He declares, “Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you.”
The message of forgiveness is a powerful one. We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), but through Jesus Christ, we have been given a way to be reconciled to God. It is only through Him that we can receive forgiveness and be made new.
It’s important to remember that forgiveness is not something that we can earn or achieve on our own. It is a beautiful gift that our almighty dear infinite loving Heavenly Father offers to us freely through His only begotten beloved Son, Jesus Christ. All we need to do is accept that gift and place our faith in Him.
As we walk through this temporary life, we will undoubtedly make mistakes and fall short of God’s perfect standard. But we can take comfort in the fact that we have an infinite loving Saviour who has already paid the price for our sins. When we confess our sins to Him and turn away from them, He is faithful and just to forgive us (1 John 1:9).
Let us take hold of the message of forgiveness that Paul proclaimed and cling to the great hope that we have in Christ. Turn to Him for forgiveness and renewal, knowing that He is always ready and willing to extend His grace and love to us.
Let us pray:
Dear Lord almighty Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Help me to fully embrace this truth and to live in the freedom that comes with it. Guide me as I navigate the challenges of life, and help me to always trust in Your grace and mercy. I come to You today with a heart full of gratitude for the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Please help me share this amazing gift of salvation with others and resist the temptation to sin. I pray this throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings through Jesus Christ, our almighty wonderful, infinite loving, glorious, fulfilling dear Lord, Saviour and Redeemer, in who we faithfully abide, trust, believe, and abundantly do receive throughout His marvelous righteous Word and His truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.
