Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.
“Psalms 40:16′
Humans tend to experience a range of emotions depending on their circumstances. We feel happy when things go well and we succeed in our endeavors. Life feels meaningful and exciting. But when things go wrong, we become sad, discouraged, and even depressed. Nobody enjoys being on the negative side of life, but life is not just about our experiences, it’s about how we respond to them. Hard times are a common occurrence for all humans, regardless of social status or reputation. The outcome of our lives depends on how we react to events.
As believers, we should keep in mind that the hardships we face in life are temporary and do not define the entirety of our lives. We should always “rejoice and be glad” in the Lord, even in difficult circumstances. Although our world is full of devastating, painful, and sorrowful events, our attitude towards them should be one of indifference. We must not allow temporary circumstances to rob us of our joy in the Lord.
As we seek the Lord for deliverance, we should learn to cultivate joy in Him, even in our troubled times. Our joy in God during suffering or loss demonstrates our confidence in the magnitude of God’s love to save and make a way of escape for us.
Let us pray:
Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your constant love and faithfulness, even in the midst of my troubles. Help me to always seek You first and find joy in Your presence, even in difficult circumstances. I pray that You will lift me up out of the pit of despair and set my feet on solid ground. Let my life be a testimony to Your goodness and mercy, and may others see Your light shining through me. I declare that I will always rejoice in You, even in times of trouble, because You are my rock and my salvation.
I pray this throughout the mighty, glorious fulfilling name of Jesus Christ. Amen
Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings through Jesus Christ, our almighty wonderful, infinite loving, glorious, dear Lord, Saviour and Redeemer, in who we faithfully abide, trust, believe, and abundantly do receive throughout His marvelous righteous Word and His truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.

God is our source of peace in the midst of the storms and trials we face. Without him, we couldn’t get through them. We should allow God to use the trials to purify our nature, our motives, our mindsets, our hearts and everything about us. I put my faith and trust in God alone. 🙌🙏🫶
