Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
“2 Corinthians 5:17′
When we come to Christ, we experience a profound transformation. The old life we used to live, full of sin, is replaced with a new one that is centered on righteousness and holiness. We are no longer defined by our past mistakes or our old way of life. Instead, we are made new and given a fresh start.
As believers, we are called to live a life that is different from the world around us. We are called to be set apart and to pursue holiness. This means letting go of our old way of life and embracing the new life that we have in Christ. Letting go of our old way of life can be a difficult and painful process. We may have to give up relationships, habits, or beliefs that have been a part of our lives for a long time. But when we let go of these things, we make room for God to work in our lives and bring about true transformation.
When we become new creations in Christ, we are given a new identity and a new purpose. We are no longer defined by our past, but by our present and future in Christ. We are called to live a life that reflects this new identity, and to pursue the purpose that God has for us.
So let us embrace the new life that we have in Christ, and let go of anything that holds us back from fully living in His love and grace. May we be transformed by the renewing of our minds and live a life that is pleasing to Him.
Let us pray:
Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, I come before You with a grateful heart for the transformation You have brought into my life through Christ. You have taken away my old ways and given me a new life. You have made me a new creation and given me the power to live a life that is pleasing to You. I pray that You continue to guide me and help me to walk in this newness of life. May I never lose sight of the sacrifice Christ made for me and may it inspire me to lay down my life for Your sake. Thank You for making me Your child and giving me a new purpose in life. I pray this throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings through Jesus Christ, our almighty wonderful, infinite loving, glorious, dear Lord, Saviour and Redeemer, in who we faithfully abide, trust, believe, and abundantly do receive throughout His marvelous righteous Word and His truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.
