What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
“Romans 8:31′
We can see in this beautiful encouraging verse of “Romans 8:31′ a universal truth: no matter whether life throws challenges at us, what obstacles we may encounter along our earthly journey, or what problems we may be called upon to face, God in His grace gathers up each and every circumstance and uses it for our eternal benefit and His greater glory. He has even given us access to His eternal throne of grace so that we may come to Him for His wisdom and guidance.
Through God’s gracious infinite love, His everlasting mercy is eternally confirmed in His sovereign plan of redemption. Paul rightfully elevates each gloating truth and comforts all of our earthly sufferings; in doing so, he takes us through the unsurpassed privileges that we can enjoy in Christ, bringing his strong argument to a conclusion.
In light of the many privileges, eternal promises, and gracious position that have been conferred upon all those who trust in Christ, no matter how challenging the road may be, the only answer possible to Paul’s astonishing question is a response of resounding praise and thankfulness to our almighty, majestic, sovereign, reigning Heavenly Father forevermore.
Let us pray:
Dear Lord almighty Heavenly Father, I thank You so much for forgiving me of my sins, not because I deserve it. Instead, Christ paid the price for my sins, all of them. Thank You that my future glorification is just as complete in Christ as my past justification when I first trusted Jesus as my Saviour and Redeemer. No one can be against us! I will never forget this amazing truth. I pray this throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling name of Jesus Christ and give You all the honor, praise and glory forevermore. Amen.
Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings through Jesus Christ, our almighty wonderful, infinite loving, glorious, dear Lord, Saviour and Redeemer, in who we faithfully abide, trust, believe, and abundantly do receive throughout His marvelous righteous Word and His truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.
