And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.
“Romans 8:28′
This verse tells us the promise that God works for our good “in all things” is reassuring. It means that no matter what circumstances we go through, there are only two conditions for God to be working all things together for our good. Their first condition is to love God, and the second condition is to be called by God’s purpose.
As a Christian, we may face challenges and even dangers, and we may be forced to suffer tragedies, disappointments, persecutions and even death. We are always likely to experience tribulations when living in this fallen, groaning world, according to the Lord Jesus Himself. The Apostle Paul further informs us that all those who live godly WILL be persecuted by the world.
Nevertheless, God’s unfailing assurance is that the blood of Christ has overcome sin. Regardless of the challenges we encounter in life including dangers and tragedies it is important to remember that those challenges and tragedies all work for the glory of God and for the eternal good of ALL, for who love God, and for who are called according to His purpose.
Let us pray:
Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, thank you for calling me according to Your plan and purpose for my life. I know that It is not Your will that anyone perishes but rather that all of those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved. We are one with Christ through grace and faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Thank You Lord, for bringing all things together so all Your great redemptive plans can be realized. Mankind will come to fulfil Your purpose for their lives. Thank You for the many times I see Your gracious hand at work in my life and in the lives of all. I pray this throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling name of Jesus Christ and give You all the honor, praise and glory forevermore. Amen.
Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings through Jesus Christ, our almighty wonderful, infinite loving, glorious, dear Lord, Saviour and Redeemer, in who we faithfully abide, trust, believe, and abundantly do receive throughout His marvelous righteous Word and His truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.
