Ephesians 6:17

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: “Ephesians 6:17′

A helmet shields a soldier’s head from harmful and fatal impacts. When it comes to the spiritual world, the helmet of salvation shields our minds from anything that could deceive us into sins or losing faith in the Lord. We can prevent these sinful thoughts and comprehend what is right and true when we put on the helmet of salvation. When we fail to do this, we are vulnerable to notions that the devil has planted in our minds to hinder our journey with Christ.

Paul also tells us that the Sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. Our Heavenly Father has provided us with a weapon to defeat all our foes in this earthly walk: the Bible. God has revealed His power, love, wisdom, and forgiveness to us through His living breathing word that is available to all of us. His marvelous righteous Word will cut through every attack from the enemy.

Let’s cover ourselves in the armor of salvation every day and study the marvelous righteous Word of God. Keep in mind that we must completely surrender to His instructions in order to keep us secure. Nothing in this world is too difficult for us to overcome when God’s mighty presence is in our midst.

Let us pray:

Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, I recognize the need to protect my mind from the lies of the enemy. When I allow my mind to be altered by others’ opinions, it only brings fear, discontentment, and anxiety. Help me to have my mind stay on You at all times. Thank You for my salvation, through faith in Jesus Christ. I know I am forever safe in Your presence. Teach me Your marvelous righteous Word and bless me with wisdom so I become to walk in the footsteps of Your character. Thank you dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious, fulfilling name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings through Jesus Christ, our almighty wonderful, infinite loving, glorious, dear Lord, Saviour and Redeemer, in who we faithfully abide, trust, believe, and abundantly do receive throughout His marvelous righteous Word and His truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.
