1 Corinthians 1:10

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
1 Corinthians 1:10

In “1 Corinthians 1:10“, Paul writes, “I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.” It’s clear from this passage that division was prevalent even in the early church. Today, we still face division in our families, communities, and even within the body of Christ. Division can lead to hurt, anger, and broken relationships. But as followers of Christ, we are called to seek unity and peace.

When we allow division to seep into our lives, we are not living out the love and grace that Christ has shown us. Instead, we should strive to build each other up, seeking reconciliation and understanding. Just as Christ loves and forgives us, we should love and forgive others. Let us remember that we are all part of one body, the body of Christ, and we should work together in harmony for the greater glory of God.

Let us Pray:

Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, we come to You with discerning hearts, recognizing the division that exists in our world. We have not always lived in harmony with one another, and we ask for your forgiveness. Help us to see each other as You see us, with love and compassion. Guide us in our words and actions, so that we may seek unity and understanding. Fill our hearts with Your grace, that we may be quick to forgive and slow to anger. Give us the strength to bridge the gaps that divide us, and to build relationships based on love and respect. May we reflect your infinite love and bring peace and unity to the world. Thank you dear Lord, almighty, dear Heavenly Father. We pray this throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and mighty Blessings to you, through Jesus Christ, our only true, glorious, fulfilling, Saviour and Redeemer.

    1. Amen🙏🏻 Sister Nancy. Thank you for joining me in prayer. Let’s pray together for God’s guidance and strength to love others as He loves us, forgiving quickly and showing grace just as He does for us. May we Remember the words of Ephesians 4:32, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” May His love flow through us, enabling us to reflect His grace and forgiveness in our life. If there are specific situations or individuals you’d like to pray for, please feel free to share. Let’s continue to seek God’s wisdom and love in all we do Sister Nancy.🙂

Remember what (Colossians 3:23-24) says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters… It is the Lord, Jesus Christ you are serving.” Your commitment to serve Him wholeheartedly is a beautiful reflection of your faith. How can we continue to encourage each other in our service to the Lord? Let’s keep seeking His guidance and strength together Sister Nancy. 🙂
