John 14:1-15

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments.
“John 14:1-15”

In “John 14:1-15“, Jesus comforts His disciples as He prepares to leave them. He reassures them that although He will no longer be with them physically, they should not be troubled or afraid, for He is going to prepare a place for them in His Father’s house. He also reminds them that they know the way to where He is going.

Jesus’s promised Words are a source of great comfort and hope for us today as well. Just as He assured His disciples, we can rest in the promise that He is preparing a place for us in heaven. We can trust in the fact that one day we will be reunited with Him and all believers in the glorious, fulfilling presence of God.

Let us Pray:

Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, as we meditate on the words of “John 14:1-15”, we are reminded of Your promise to prepare a place for us in Your new kingdom. Help us to trust in Your plan and have faith in Your eternal infinite love for us. You have told us that we can do greater things than Jesus, and we ask for the courage and strength to live up to this potential. Let Your spirit guide us in all that we do, so that our actions may bring glory to Your glorious fulfilling name. We lift up our hearts to You, knowing with a trustworthy, peacefully understanding that You are the way, the truth, and the life. Help us to find peace in Your presence and comfort and strength out of Your marvelous, righteous Word.
May we abide in You and bear much fruit, as You have called us to do. We ask for the grace to love one another as You have loved us, and to follow Your commandments with joyful obedience. Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, we pray that Your love and peace fill our hearts and that we will remain intimately connected with You everyday. May we be filled with Your infinite love and share it with those around us. Thank You dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, we pray this throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings to you, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Saviour and Redeemer.
