Isaiah 4:1-6

And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach. In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem: When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning. And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence. And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain “Isaiah 4:1-6”

“Isaiah 4” is a chapter that speaks of the purification and protection that GOD offers to His people. In this chapter, we see a vision of a time when the LORD will provide a shelter and refuge for His people, a time when His presence will bring cleansing and restoration.

The chapter begins with a depiction of a time when seven women will take hold of one man, longing for the security and protection that he can provide. This imagery speaks to the desperate longing for security and fulfillment that people experience. It also serves as a reminder that true security and fulfillment can only be found in GOD.

Isaiah goes on to describe a time when the Lord will create a canopy of protection over Mount Zion, providing a place of refuge from the heat of the day and a shelter from the storm and rain. This imagery points to the LORD’S provision and protection for His people, offering them safety and security in the midst of life’s trials and challenges.

The chapter concludes with a beautiful picture of the LORD’S presence bringing beauty and glory to His people. It speaks of a time when the LORD will wash away the filth of His people and cleanse them from their sin, bringing about a restoration and renewal that brings joy and celebration.

As we study “Isaiah 4′, let us take comfort in the promise of GOD’S protection and provision for His people. Let us remember that in the midst of life’s challenges, the Lord is our refuge and shelter. And let us rejoice in the beauty and glory that He brings into our lives as He cleanses and restores us.

Let us Pray:

Dear LORD, Almighty HEAVENLY FATHER, we thank You for Your promise of protection and provision for Your people. We are grateful for the refuge and shelter that You provide in the midst of life’s storms. Help us to trust in Your provision and to find security in Your divine presence. We also like to thank You for Your cleansing and restoration. Thank You for washing away our sin and renewing us with Your grace. May we rejoice in the beauty and glory that You bring into our lives as You work in us and through us. Help us to remember that our true security and fulfillment can only be found in You. May we cling to You as our refuge and trust in Your promises. Thank You dear LORD, almighty HEAVENLY FATHER. We pray this throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling name of JESUS CHRIST. Amen!

Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings to You, through JESUS CHRIST, our LORD, SAVIOUR and REDEEMER.
