“Genesis 12:3” says, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” In this verse, our almighty dear HEAVENLY FATHER makes a beautiful promise to Abraham, that through him and his descendants, all peoples on earth will be blessed. This promise ultimately finds its fulfillment through JESUS CHRIST, who came from the line of Abraham and became the ultimate source of blessing for all who believe in Him.
As we reflect on this glorious, fulfilling promise, we are reminded that GOD is a sovereign, reigning GOD of true fulfilling blessing. GOD desires to bless His people and to bring blessing to the world through them. Just as GOD blessed Abraham and his descendants, He also desires to bless us today. This blessing is not just for our own benefit, but also to be a source of blessing for the many dear hearts and souls in the world.
It is a true honor to be carriers of GOD’S blessing, and it is a responsibility to bless others in turn. We can do this by showing GOD’S infinite love and kindness, by sharing the glorious fulfilling news of JESUS CHRIST, and by being a positive influence in the world around us. As we do so, we help to fulfill the glorious, fulfilling promise that all peoples on earth will be blessed through JESUS CHRIST.
Let us Pray:
Dear LORD, almighty HEAVENLY FATHER, thank you for your promise of blessing. Help us to be mindful of the ways you have blessed us and to be grateful for all Your goodness in our lives. May we also be vessels of blessing to others, sharing Your infinite love and grace with those around us. Help us to be a positive influence in the world, bringing light into darkness and hope to those in need. We pray that through You in us, all peoples on earth will come to know and experience your blessing. Thank you dear LORD almighty HEAVENLY FATHER. We pray this throughout the mighty glorious fulfilling name of JESUS CHRIST. Amen!
