The journey to experiencing GOD in our lives is both profound and personal. Through prayer, scripture, and reflection, we can cultivate an meaningful, intimate relationship with GOD. In  this verse by verse Bible Study I hope to provide an inspiring, and encouraging overview, to draw us closer to GOD.

1.”And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13)

This verse emphasizes the importance when we sincerely searching GOD with all our heart. GOD desires for us to engage with Him wholeheartedly every single day.

2. “Draw nigh to GOD, and he will draw nigh to you.” (James 4:8)

This is a beautiful promise of GOD that our efforts to seek Him are reciprocated, GOD desires closeness with us, in order to build us up by the foundation of His marvelous righteous Word and truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.

3. “Be still, and know that I am GOD: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10)

In our quiet moments, GOD reveals His nature and divine plans. Taking our time to be still is essential and brings us to a place of GOD’S sanctuary, were we become to receive more and more of the clarity of GOD’S marvelous righteous Word, that He desires for us so abundantly to receive, and apply in our lives.

4. “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” ( Matthew 7:7)

This encouraging vers to us is to approach GOD with expectation. He listens and responds while we draw closer to Him, and don’t lean on our own understanding!
