Revelation 3:4

Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. “Revelation 3:4′

In Revelation chapter 3, John speaks to the church in Sardis, commending a few members who have remained faithful to Jesus Christ, despite the majority being spiritually dead. He urges them to strengthen what remains, to remember what they have received and heard, and to repent. Otherwise, Jesus will come like a thief in the night, and their works will not be found complete before God.

Jesus commended the faithful believers who held fast to God’s marvelous righteous Word as worthy of His praise. Despite the spiritual decay of those around them, they remained steadfast in their calling, walking in spirit and truth, and untainted by the world. They overcame by faith, living a triumphant Christian life while still enjoying fellowship with the almighty Heavenly Father, and were promised the privilege of walking with the Lord Jesus Christ, adorned in white garments.

In the marvelous righteous Word of God, there are always those faithful few who remain true to the Scriptures, loyal to their Lord Jesus Christ and refuse to compromise their faith or be enticed back into worldly pursuits. Let us strive to be among the few today who do not soil their garments. May we remain part of a faithful remnant who walk in spirit and truth, trust in the Lord with all our heart, and live godly lives through the power of His Holy Spirit.

Let us pray:

Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, I come before You in awe of Your holiness and righteousness. I pray that I may be counted among the faithful few who remain true to Your marvelous righteous Word and loyal to you’re beloved Son Jesus Christ. Help me to resist the temptation to compromise my faith or be enticed back into worldly pursuits. May my garments be clean and white, representing my commitment to live a godly life through the power of Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for the promise of eternal fellowship with You Lord, almighty Heavenly Father and walking with You, dressed in white garments. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious fulfilling name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings through Jesus Christ, our wonderful, infinite loving, almighty, glorious dear Lord, Saviour and Redeemer, in who we faithfully abide, trust, believe, and abundantly do receive throughout His marverlous righteous Word and truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.
