Isaiah 55:6

Seek ye the LORD while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near: ‘Isaiah 55:6’

Do you feel like your life is lacking direction and purpose? Do you find yourself wandering aimlessly, unsure of where to turn next? “Isaiah 55:6′ gives us a clear direction: “Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near.”

This passage reminds us that there is a sense of urgency by seeking God. We cannot afford to waste time and let the opportunity to draw close to Him pass us by. It is only by seeking Him that we can truly find the purpose and direction we so desperately need.

So how can we practically seek God daily? It starts with a desire to be close to Him. Just as we need air to breathe and water to drink, we need to seek God’s presence continually. We can do this by reading His marvelous righteous Word, praying, and meditating on His promises throughout the day.

Let us take a moment to pray and ask God to help us seek Him wholeheartedly. As we draw near to God, He will draw near to us, and we will find the strength and guidance to live a life that honors Him.

Let us pray:

Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, I come before You today asking for Your grace to help me live a life of righteousness and justice. Please help me to draw near to You and seek Your wisdom and strength to do what is right in every situation. Help me to not compartmentalize my faith but to seek You throughout my day. May Your truth fulfilling Holy Spirit guide me in every decision I make so that I may honor You and be a light to those around me. Thank You for Your infinite love and mercy, and for empowering me to live a life that reflects Your character. I pray this throughout the mighty glorious, fulfilling name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings through Jesus Christ, our almighty wonderful, infinite loving, glorious, fulfilling dear Lord, Saviour and Redeemer, in who we faithfully abide, trust, believe, and abundantly do receive throughout His marvelous righteous Word and His truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.
