Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. “Matthew 24:35‘

Heaven and earth were created by our almighty God, and God has the power to end them. In this regard, Jesus’ claim that His words are more unchanging, solid, trustworthy, and permanent than the heaven and earth constitutes one of His strongest claims to be an eternal being. By this statement, Jesus is reassuring His followers that His words are absolutely reliable and cannot be swayed in any way.

As the scriptures tell us, heaven and earth will eventually pass away. By the righteous Word of the Lord, the present heaven and earth will be reserved for fire, to be kept for the day of judgment, and to destroy all ungodly men. God is building a new heaven and a new earth, which will serve as the place for the rest of righteousness since the first heaven and the first earth will pass away, as He foretold in His marvelous righteous Word.

Heaven and earth will eventually pass away, since this world has been contaminated by sin. The pure divine words of the Lord Jesus, however, are perfect. To fallen men, they are life and light, and will never, ever be extinguished. God’s Word endures forever, as well as the Words of His beloved son Jesus Christ for all eternity. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, all honor, praise and glory to our almighty, glorious fulfilling Lord of Lord’s, King of King’s, forevermore.

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.
“Psalms 57:5“

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.  “Isaiah 60:1′

Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. “Philippines 4:20‘

Let us pray:

Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your beloved son Jesus, the risen, ascended, and for receiving Your glorified righteous Words, which will never fail. Thank You for entrusting Your only begotten beloved son Jesus as the living Word, whose promises will endure for all time. I pray that I may hold fast to Your righteous fulfilling Word of truth, no matter what happens in this temporary world and no matter what journeys and tribulations I may experience. As you have instructed, I will take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your truth fulfilling righteous Word. Thank you dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father. I pray this throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
