Psalms 139:1

‘To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.’ O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. “Psalms 139:1

Often, we do not allow people to get to know us fully because we are afraid they might discover something about us that they will not like or use against us. But God knows absolutely everything about us, even the number of hairs on our heads “Matthew 10:30‘. As God’s creation, we are never out of His sight! As we go about our daily lives, He protects, loves, and guides us every step of the way, knowing and loving us completely.

David uses the word “searched‘ to perceive that God has dug deeply into his heart, where He uncovered all his sinful thoughts and exposed them. It is equally relevant for us today. We may be able to lie to others about our sins, even to ourselves, but nothing can be hidden from God for He knows everything about our past, present, and future.

God is all seeing, all knowing, all powerful, and everywhere present. God knows you intimately, and God is with you. Expose your heart completely to the Lord today and ask for His guidance and discipline. He knows everything that you need, and He certainly will provide.

Let us pray:

Dear Lord almighty Heavenly, I surrender my heart and mind to you. You know my worries and fears, my anxious thoughts and daily problems. I believe You are in total control, and I ask that You reveal Your plan to me so that I may carry out Your devine will. Search my heart, Lord, and test me. Look into my heart to see if I have a path of offense, and guide me to a path of eternal life. There is nothing beyond Your power, Lord. I thank You for being a God who cares so much for everyone. I pray this throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling name, of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings in Jesus Christ, our almighty, wonderful, infinite loving, glorious dear Lord, Saviour and Redeemer, in who we faithfully abide, trust, believe, and abundantly do receive throughout His marvelous righteous Word and His truth fulfilling Holy Spirit.

  1. We should always look to God for wisdom and discernment because he does know us or wants to [if we allow him] to very intimately. His ways are always better and he is always working things out for our good
