For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. “Habakkuk 2:3‘
In the midst of life’s problems, it’s easy for us to start wondering, “Does God hear me?”, or “Why doesn’t He answer my prayers?” Like Habakkuk, we might often feel angry and discouraged when we see terrible things happen. God’s answer to Habakkuk is the same answer He gives us when we wait for His promise of ultimate victory over evil to come true: Although it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, it will come. It will take place at its appointed time and it will not be delayed.
Through waiting, Habakkuk realizes that ultimately, God is sovereign over all and more powerful than even the babylonians, who are merely putty in God’s hands. Habakkuk is therefore encouraged and strengthened. Likewise, through waiting, we realize God is Sovereign. We can be truly at peace, knowing with a trustworthy understanding that God is in control. When nothing seems to be happening, we have a hard time waiting. But God works out His divine plans throughout His perfect timing. At all times we need to put our trust in Jesus Christ
Let us pray:
Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, Your timing is perfect. Thank You for Your relentlessly working in my life. Help me to wait patiently for Your vision, the purpose You have for my life, to come true. Ignite my heart with Your Holy Spirit so that I may live my life according to Your perfect plan. Thank you dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father. I pray this throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling name, of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings in Jesus Christ, our almighty, wonderful, infinite loving, glorious dear Lord, Saviour and Redeemer.

Amen Sister Nancy,
In Psalms 40 David recognizes as well that help cannot come from any source but the Lord Himself. He learned that God has His divine times of action and will not be hurried. Even when we are in desperate need of something from God, patient waiting on our almighty dear Heavenly Father is our appointed way. Thank you for stepping by and sharing your insightful thoughts and kindness. God bless you Sister Nancy.
