Colossians 1:6

Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth: “Colossians 1:6

When you watch the news or read the latest headlines, what fills your heart and mind about the world we live in today? Do you remain optimistic and hopeful? Or does the seemingly never ending flow of breaking news make you feel worried, scared, angry, heartbroken, or desperate?

Our world seems to be spinning out of control. However, don’t lose hope! There is GOOD NEWS! The headline of this “Good News” has a name; Jesus Christ. The good news is spreading around the world! Everywhere it goes, it bears fruit by changing lives!

When Jesus died on the cross, He put an end to all the news that would separate us from God. He removed its power to control our lives, to lead us astray, or to blind us from the truth. As He rose from the grave on the third day, He proved to the world once and for all that God has full authority over all the news of this world. His love is greater, and His grace, mercy, compassion, and forgiveness are available to ALL who believe in His one and only begotten son, Jesus Christ!

This good news has been bearing fruit all over the world from generation to generation, and it’s changing lives right now as you read this. It will not stop until everyone hears it and truly understand God’s wonderful grace.

Keep this good news with you wherever you go. Let it bear fruit. Let it change lives!

Let us pray:

Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, thank You for the powerful Good News of Christ. My life was forever changed as soon as I heard it. No matter what is happening in the world today, You are in control. Let there be less violence, more peace; less anger, more love; less jealousy, more kindness. Dear Lord, as I learn more about You every day, help me to be a faithful servant to You and to bear fruit through my work. Help me to always be a positive influencer on others. Thank you dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father. I pray this throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings through Jesus Christ, our almighty, wonderful dear Lord, Saviour and Redeemer.
