The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in His way.
“Psalms 37:23‘
Have you ever wished that God could just show you your future? Getting our first job, meeting our future half, getting married, and having children. It would be great if He just showed up and told you all that, but that’s not how God leads us. God leads us one step at a time, and He delights in every step that we take.
The Lord doesn’t tell us that He would reveal the entire journey to us, but that He orders our steps. He leads us and builds relationships with us by being with us every step of the way. If we had the whole journey mapped out for us, we wouldn’t really need to lean on God. It is through our daily walk with Him that we learn to trust and rely on God. Having a clear understanding of God’s grace and unconditional love makes what happens in the future less important. Regardless of what happens, we can rest assured that God will always be there for us.
Discovering your purpose in life is a process. It’s learning to lean on and trust in God and know that when you need to know the next step to take, God will show it to you.
Let us pray:
Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, thank You for guiding me every step of the way. I am at peace knowing with a trustworthy understanding that You are always with me and that You are delighted with the path that You have set for me. Teach me to rely on You even when the road gets dark and life gets hard. Help me to put my trust in You at all times. I am truly blessed to have You in my life. Thank you dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father. I pray this throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings through Jesus Christ, our almighty, wonderful dear Lord, Saviour and Redeemer.

Knowing our future isn’t necessary as long as we walk with the Lord today. Thanks, Pieter, for your thoughts about this scripture. 🙂

Absolutely dear sister Nancy, your welcome.
Walking with the Lord today is essential for knowing and fulfilling our future in Him. The Bible encourages us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding (Proverbs3:5-6). By seeking His will daily, we can find guidance for our future. However, it’s important to remember that God’s timing and plays may differ from ours, so we should remain faithful and patient as we walk with Him.
Thank you for sharing your inspiring thoughts on Psalms 37:23.🙂 May God bless you sister Nancy.
