For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  “Isaiah 9:6“

This beautiful vers from Isaiah paints a vivid picture of the magnitude of Christ’s arrival. He is our Wonderful Counselor, offering guidance and wisdom beyond measure. In His might, He shoulders the weight of our world, bringing comfort and security as the Mighty God. As the everlay, glorious Heavenly dear Father, His infinite unfailing love knows no bounds, providing eternal care and nurture. And in the midst of a world often yearning for peace, Jesus stands as the Prince of Peace, offering a tranquil refuge for our hearts.

On this day, let’s bask in the beauty of these titles bestowed upon our almighty dear Lord and Saviour. In the midst of festive cheer, may the significance of Christ’s birth resonate deeply. As we exchange gifts, let’s remember the greatest gift of all, Jesus, the embodiment of love, wisdom, might, and peace. May this day and the next seasons of our lives be a celebration not by presents under the tree but of the profound presence of the Prince of Peace in our lives.

Dear Lord, almighty Heavenly Father, on this blessed day, I thank You for the extraordinary gift of Jesus, as foretold in Isaiah 9:6. As I unwrap the joys of today, may the titles given to Him; Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace,  resonate in my heart. I invite You, Wonderful Counselor, to guide my steps. Be my Mighty God, shouldering life’s burdens. In Your infinite love, Everlasting Father, nurture my soul. And, as I celebrate the Prince of Peace, bring tranquility to my heart and our world. May this season and all the seasons of my life be a reminder of Your profound presence. Thank you dear Lord, almighty dear Heavenly Father for always being here for us. I pray this throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling, name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
