As brothers and sisters in Christ, it is important for us to share our compassion with one another and not to provoke or pass judgment. In “Colossians 3:12-14”, we are reminded to clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. We are called to bear with one another and forgive as the Lord has forgiven us. It is through our actions and attitudes that we can show love and compassion to one another, just as Christ has shown us.

Let us pray:

Dear Lord, almighty dear Heavenly Father, we come before you as brothers and sisters in Christ, seeking to live out your commandment to love one another. Help us to share our compassion with one another, to be kind and gentle in our words and actions. Give us the humility to bear with one another and the patience to forgive as you have forgiven us. May our relationships be characterized by love and understanding, rather than provocation and judgment. Help us to see each other through your eyes and to extend grace and compassion to one another. Thank you dear Lord almighty Heavenly Father. We pray this throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
