Welcome to a new Bible Study On “SURRENDER OF HEART & SOUL”

Let’s reason and take an inspiring verse by verse look, at the Bible study references below, followed with a summary, and uplift our prayer request before GOD’s Holy throne-room!

“And thou shalt love the LORD thy GOD with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.”
(Deuteronomy 6:5)

Beloved, before you read another word, know this GOD sees you right now. He knows your name. He knows every burden you are carrying, every tear you have cried in the dark, every question you have whispered into the silence. And in spite of it all because of it all He loves you with a love so vast, so deep, so completely unshakeable that nothing in heaven or earth can take it from you. This is not a study about religion. This is an invitation. An invitation from the heart of GOD Himself, reaching toward yours, saying come closer. I want all of you.

PART I – GOD Does Not Want Religion. He Wants YOU:

“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the FATHER in spirit and in truth: for the FATHER seeketh such to worship Him. GOD is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:23-24)

Oh, beloved did you catch that word? The FATHER seeketh. He is not sitting on a distant throne waiting for you to earn your way to Him. He is actively, tenderly, passionately seeking YOU. Not your performance. Not your polished prayers. Not your perfect attendance record. He is seeking your heart the real you, the raw you, the you that shows up broken and breathless and says, “LORD, here I am.”

“These  people draw near to me with their mouth, and honour me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.”
(Matthew 15:8)

GOD has never been impressed by empty religion. What moves His heart is when you move toward His. Every single time you open your hands and say, “LORD, I surrender” Heaven leans in. The FATHER smiles. And something beautiful begins.

“The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.”
(Psalm 145:18)

He is not far. He is not distant. He is nigh, right there, right now, as close as the breath in your lungs. Call upon Him today. Call upon Him in truth. And watch how quickly He answers with love.

PART II – The Daily Surrender. The Sweetest Gift You Can Give Him:

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of GOD, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto GOD, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
(Romans 12:1-2)

Every single day is a brand new gift. A fresh page. A new mercy. And every day, GOD gently stretches out His hand toward yours and whispers will you walk with Me today? That is what all surrender is. It is not a heavy, frightening thing. It is the most beautiful, freeing, joy filled decision you will ever make to lay yourself down before the One who loves you most, and say, “LORD, today I am Yours. All of me.”

Not just on the Sabbath day. Not just in the pew. But in the kitchen while the coffee brews. On the drive to work. In the quiet moment before the world wakes up. Every breath, every step, every heartbeat offered back to the One and only GOD who give it so abundantly.

“Take my yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”
(Matthew 11:29)

JESUS is not a harsh taskmaster standing over you with a list of demands. He is meek. He is gentle. He is lowly in heart. He looks at your weariness and says, come to Me. He looks at your striving and says, rest. He looks at everything you have been carrying alone and says, give it to Me. I have got you. Oh, what a SAVIOUR. What a loving, tender, beautiful SAVIOUR.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
(Proverbs 3:5-6)

You do not have to have it all figured out, beloved. You do not have to see the whole staircase. You only need to take the next step with your hand in His. Trust the LORD with all your heart today not half of it, not the parts that feel safe all of it. And watch how faithfully, how lovingly, how perfectly He directs your path.

PART III – His Righteous Word. Bread for Your Soul Every Single Day:

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
(Psalm 119:105)

Imagine walking through the darkest night, and someone places a lamp right at your feet. Not a floodlight that shows you everything at once just enough light for the next step. That is what GOD’s Marvelous, righteous, fulfilling Word is, beloved. It is His personal love letter to you. It is His voice speaking directly into your life, your fears, your hopes, your questions. Every time you open its pages, GOD is there ready to speak, ready to guide, ready to fill you with exactly what you need for today.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of GOD, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of GOD may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Every word of Scripture breathed out by GOD Himself breathed out for you. To build you up when you feel small. To correct you with the gentlest, most loving hands.To instruct you in a righteousness so beautiful it transforms everything it touches. His marvelous, righteous Word does not leave you the same. It renews you. It restores you. It makes you ready for everything He has called you to receive so abundantly.

“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.”
(1 Peter 2:2)

Do you remember what it feels like to be truly, deeply hungry? GOD wants you to hunger for His Word like that. Not out of obligation out of desperate, joyful longing. Because His fulfilling righteous Word is alive. It is powerful. It reaches the places inside you that nothing else can touch, and it fills them with life and hope and the unshakeable truth of who you are in CHRIST JESUS.

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of GOD.” (Matthew 4:4)

Feed your soul today, beloved. Open His marvelous, righteous Word. Let it wash over you. Let it speak to you. Let it fill every empty, hungry place inside you with the rich, nourishing, life giving bread that only GOD can provide.

PART IV – The HOLY SPIRIT. Your Dearest Friend, Your Daily Companion:

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
(John 16:13)

You are never alone. Let that truth settle into the deepest part of your heart right now, you are never, ever alone. The HOLY SPIRIT of the living GOD walks with you every moment of every day. He is not a distant force or a theological concept. He is your Guide, your Counselor, your closest Companion leading you tenderly, faithfully, lovingly into all truth.

“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.”
(Ephesians 5:18)

Be filled. Be continually, daily, freshly filled. Not just once again and again and again. Every morning when you wake, ask GOD to fill you anew. Every time you feel empty, ask Him to pour Himself into you. The HOLY SPIRIT is not stingy with His presence. He is generous, overflowing, abundantly ready to fill every willing heart that opens itself to Him.

“But the Comforter, which is the HOLY GHOST, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
(John 14:26)

Comforter. What a tender, beautiful name. In your grief, He comforts. In your confusion, He teaches. In your forgetting, He reminds you of every promise JESUS ever spoke. The HOLY SPIRIT is the living presence of CHRIST walking with you through every room of your life the bright rooms and the dark ones, the celebrations and the valleys. He never leaves. He never forsakes. He never stops whispering the love of the Father over your soul.

PART V – JESUS CHRIST. The Door Wide Open, Waiting for You:

“For GOD so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
(John 3:16)

Stop for just a moment and let this wash over you. GOD so loved you. Not a perfect version of you. Not a future, cleaned up version of you. You, right now, exactly as you are. He Love’s you so completely, so sacrificially, so breathtakingly that He gave the most precious treasure He had His only begotten Son JESUS so that you would never have to perish. So that you could live. Really live. Fully, gloriously, eternally live.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS, and shalt believe in thine heart that GOD hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
(Romans 10:9-10)

Salvation is not a complicated, distant, impossible thing. It is a heart that believes and a mouth that confesses. It is the most beautiful, life-changing, eternity altering conversation you will ever have the moment you look up and say, “JESUS, I believe. You are LORD. You are mine and I am Yours.” That moment, heaven erupts in joy. Angels rejoice. And your name is written forever in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

“JESUS saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.”(John 14:6)

JESUS is not one road among many. He is THE way, wide open, fully paid for, lit by grace, and leading straight into the arms of the FATHER. Every step you take toward Him is a step into more love, more truth, more life than you have ever known. He is not standing at the door with crossed arms. He is standing there with open arms, a smile on His face, saying, I have been waiting for you. Welcome home.

“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which GOD hath prepared for them that love him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9)

Beloved, your imagination cannot even begin to contain what GOD has prepared for you. The joy that awaits. The glory that is coming. The eternal, abundant, breathtaking life that JESUS purchased for you with His own precious blood. It is more than you have dared to hope for. It is more than your heart has had the courage to dream.

“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
(John 10:10)

Not a small life. Not a barely surviving life. An abundant life overflowing, rich in His presence, full of His joy, saturated in His peace. This is what JESUS came to give you. Not religion. Life. Real, radiant, resurrection life.

PART VI – Walking With Him Every Day. Intimate, Encouraged, and Deeply Loved:

“Draw nigh to GOD, and He will draw nigh to you.”
(James 4:8)

This may be the most tender promise in all of Scripture. One step. Just one step toward GOD and He moves toward you. You do not have to arrive perfectly. You do not have to have all the right words. You only have to turn your heart in His direction, and He comes running. Like the father in the parable, He sees you while you are still a great way off, and He runs. He always runs toward the surrendered heart.

“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy GOD is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
(Joshua 1:9)

Whatever you are facing today whatever mountain looms before you, whatever storm rages around you, you do not face it alone. The LORD thy GOD is with thee. Not was. Not will be. Is Right now. Right here. Walking beside you, going before you, standing behind you. You are covered, beloved. You are carried. You are kept by the mighty, tender, faithful hand of GOD.

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)

When you feel like you have nothing left wait on Him. When the weariness goes bone deep wait on Him. When the road feels too long and the burden too heavy wait on Him. Because He never runs out of strength to give you. He never runs out of grace to renew you. He lifts you up on wings like eagles high above the storms, high above the fear, high into the glorious freedom of His presence and He whispers, I have got you. You will not faint. Keep going. I am right here.

Let’s Summarise this Bible Study together:

From the very first word of Genesis to the final, glorious Amen of Revelation the whole book of scripture is one long, beautiful, unrelenting love story. And you are in it. GOD has been pursuing your heart since before you took your first breath. He has been writing your name on His hands, calling you by name in the night, placing eternity inside your soul so that nothing in this world would ever fully satisfy you until you found your home in Him.

This walk is not a religion. It is a romance. It is the daily, intimate, joy filled journey of a surrendered heart walking hand in hand with its Creator built up and nourished by the living, breathing, powerful Word of GOD, set ablaze and sustained by the beautiful HOLY SPIRIT, and made gloriously possible by the one great act of love the universe has ever known: our LORD JESUS CHRIST laying down His life, rising in triumph, and throwing wide open the door to eternal life for every single soul who believes.

You do not have to be perfect. You do not have to have it all together. You only have to believe and confess that the LORD is your SAVIOUR and REDEEMER, You only have to surrender. You only have to say yes, and all of Heaven says yes back to you.

This is the desire of GOD. This is the call of His Word. This is the life the radiant, eternal, gloriously abundant life that He has prepared for you with love.

Let’s humble ourselves, and lift our prayer request before GOD’s throne-room:

Dear LORD, almighty HEAVENLY FATHER, What a privilege it is to come before You. What an honour it is to be called Your own. We come to You now not with rehearsed words or religious performance but with hearts wide open, souls fully surrendered, and spirits hungry for more of You.
Thank You dear LORD, almighty HEAVENLY FATHER. Thank You for loving us before we loved You. Thank You for sending your only begotten, beloved Son, JESUS CHRIST’ when we were lost, for sending Your HOLY SPIRIT when we were lonely, and for never not even for a single moment letting go of our hand. Today we choose You. All of You. We lay down our striving and our fear and our need to have it all figured out, and we simply rest in the truth that You are GOD, You are good, and You are for us. Build us up, dear LORD, on the unshakeable foundation of Your righteous and marvelous, righteous Word. Let it be the first thing we reach for in the morning and the last thing on our hearts at night. Renew our minds. Restore our joy. Refresh our hope. And fill us oh, fill us to overflowing with Your precious, glorious HOLY SPIRIT every single day. For every soul reading these words who has never surrendered their heart to JESUS may this be the moment. May they receive Your infinite love reaching for them right now, tender and relentless and completely without condition. May they open their heart and say yes to You today and may the joy of their salvation ring through all of Heaven. And for every believer walking this road  may they walk it with their head held high, their heart full of courage, and their eyes fixed on the glorious eternal life that JESUS CHRIST has purchased and prepared for them. A life more beautiful, more joyful, more full than anything this world has ever offered. We love You, LORD. We need You. We are Yours completely, joyfully, eternally Yours. Thank You dear LORD, almighty HEAVENLY FATHER’; Hear our prayers throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling name of JESUS CHRIST’ Amen!
