HOW GOD FURNISHES OUR SPIRITUAL LIFE

BIBLE STUDY AUDIO PART 1/2

Hi, and Welcome to a new Bible Study on “HOW GOD FURNISHES OUR SPIRITUAL LIFE

Let’s reason and take an inspiring verse by verse look, at the Bible study references below, followed with a summary, and uplifting prayer request, before GOD’s Holy throne-room:

Walking in the Renewal of the Mind and Mastering the Footsteps of JESUS CHRIST:

“For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever.” (Romans 11:36)

PART ONE – GOD FURNISHES US, THE DIVINE PROVISION:

1. GOD Furnishes Us With His Very Breath, The Gift of Life in the SPIRIT.

“And the LORD GOD formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7)

Before anything else, GOD did not merely create us. He breathed Himself into us. Our SPIRITUAL life does not begin with our effort; it begins with His breath. Every longing you have ever felt for something greater, something HOLY, something eternal, that is the breath of GOD in you, still calling you back to Him.

PART TWO -THE RENEWAL OF THE MIND, GOD’S TRANSFORMATION AT WORK:

2. He Furnishes Us With His marvelous righteous Word, The Lamp for Every Step:

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
(Psalm 119:105)

GOD does not leave us to wander in the dark. He furnishes our SPIRITUAL journey with His marvelous righteous of Word that gives us true life. Not a distant rule book, but a personal lamp. Notice He said lamp unto my feet, meaning the light is given step by step, one faithful footstep at a time, just as JESUS walked. Trust the step in front of you. The Word will light the next one.

3. He Furnishes Us With the HOLY SPIRIT, Our Comforter and Guide:

“But the Comforter, which is the HOLY GHOST, whom the FATHER will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
(John 14:26)

GOD did not leave us as orphans after CHRIST ascended. He furnished us with a divine Companion who lives within us, teaching, reminding, guiding, and comforting. The HOLY SPIRIT is not a distant force; He is the very presence of GOD walking with us daily, making the footsteps of JESUS clear to our hearts.

4. The Call to Be Transformed:

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of GOD.” (Romans 12:2)

This is GOD’s great invitation and it begins in the mind. The word transformed here is the Greek word metamorphoo, the same word used for the transfiguration of CHRIST. GOD desires to transfigure our thinking. Not a small adjustment, but a complete and glorious change from the inside out. The world pulls us to conform; CHRIST calls us to be transformed.

5. Casting Down Wrong Thinking:

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of GOD, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of CHRIST.” (2 Corinthians 10:5)

Renewal of the mind requires SPIRITUAL warfare over our thought life. GOD furnishes us with the authority to cast down every thought, every fear, every doubt, every lie that stands against the truth of who He is. We do not passively drift into a renewed mind. We actively, daily bring our thoughts under the LORDSHIP of JESUS CHRIST.

6. Putting On the Mind of CHRIST:

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in CHRIST JESUS.”
(Philippians 2:5)

What a staggering gift. We are invited to wear the very mind of CHRIST as our own. Humility. Obedience. Compassion. Sacrifice. Service. These are not burdens; they are the garments of a renewed mind. When we think as CHRIST thinks, we begin to walk as CHRIST walked.

7. Thinking on Things That Are True and HOLY:

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” (Philippians 4:8)

GOD furnishes our renewal by giving us a divine filter for our minds. What we meditate on, we become. This verse is GOD’s prescription for a healthy, HOLY, and fruitful thought life, a garden of the mind where the footsteps of JESUS can grow in us undisturbed.

PART THREE – MASTERING THE FOOTSTEPS OF JESUS CHRIST:

8. Walking in Love, The First Footstep:

“And walk in love, as CHRIST also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to GOD for a sweetsmelling savour.”
(Ephesians 5:2)

The very first footstep of JESUS that we are called to master is love, not sentimental feeling, but sacrificial, self/giving love. CHRIST gave everything. To master His footstep in love means choosing others above ourselves daily, willingly, joyfully, as an offering, not a burden.

9. Walking in the Light, The Footstep of Righteousness:

“But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of JESUS CHRIST His Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
(1 John 1:7)

JESUS never walked in darkness, not in deed, not in thought, not in word. To master His footstep of righteousness is to choose transparency before GOD and men. In that light, we are not condemned. We are cleansed. Fellowship with GOD and with one another flows freely when we walk honestly in the true of His light.

10. Walking by Faith, The Footstep of Trust:

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
(2 Corinthians 5:7)

JESUS trusted His FATHER completely, even in Gethsemane, even on Calvary. To master this footstep means releasing the need to see the full staircase before taking the step. GOD furnishes our faith daily as we walk, not before. Every step taken in trust is a step that looks exactly like JESUS.

11. Walking in the SPIRIT, The Footstep of Freedom:

“This I say then, Walk in the SPIRIT, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16)

One of the most liberating footsteps of CHRIST is this, walking not by impulse, not by emotion, not by the demands of the flesh, but by the gentle leading of the HOLY SPIRIT. GOD furnishes our SPIRITUAL life with a SPIRIT who is always willing to lead and in that leading is the truest freedom the soul has ever known.

12. Walking Worthy, The Footstep of Purpose:

“That ye might walk worthy of the LORD unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of GOD.” (Colossians 1:10)

To master the footsteps of JESUS is ultimately to live a life of purpose, every day fruitful, every day increasing, every day leaning deeper into the knowledge of who GOD is. Not perfect steps, but worthy ones. Steps that bring glory to His name and bear lasting fruit in the earth.

PART FOUR – THE GLORIOUS RESULT, A FULLY FURNISHED SPIRITUAL LIFE:

13. Strength for Every Step:

“I can do all things through CHRIST which strengtheneth me.”
(Philippians 4:13)

GOD does not call us to walk this walk alone. He furnishes every single step with His own strength. The word strengtheneth in the Greek is.continuous. He is constantly, actively, presently pouring strength into us. We are never left running on empty in CHRIST.

14. A Life That Bears Eternal Fruit.

“Herein is my FATHER glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be My disciples.” (John 15:8)

A SPIRITUALLY furnished life, walking in renewal, mastering the footsteps of JESUS, produces fruit that remains. Not temporary success, not fleeting happiness, but deep, eternal, GOD glorifying fruit. This is the fulfilling life CHRIST promised, abundant, purposeful, and radiant with His glory.

BIBLE STUDY AUDIO PART 2/2

15. The Promise That Sustains It All:

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of JESUS CHRIST.”
(Philippians 1:6)

GOD started this work in you and He will finish it. He is not a GOD who abandons what He begins. Every breath, every Word, every movement of the HOLY SPIRIT in your life is GOD saying: I am still working. I have not let go. Keep walking.

“The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever.” (Psalm 138:8)

Beloved, GOD has furnished you completely, with His breath, His marvelous righteous, empowering, fulfilling Word, His true SPIRIT, His strength, and His infinite love. Your mind is being renewed. Your steps are being ordered. Your life is being shaped, day by glorious day, into the very image (character) of CHRIST JESUS.

You are not behind. You are not forgotten. You are not too broken.
You are being perfected by the One who loves you dearly much without end.

Walk on, dear beloved soul. Walk on, in CHRIST JESUS, our almighty dear LORD, SAVIOUR and REDEEMER!

LET’S SUMMARIZE THIS BIBLE STUDY TOGETHER:

From the very first breath in Genesis to the final promise in Philippians, this study reveals one magnificent, unbroken truth. GOD has never left our SPIRITUAL life unfurnished. He gave us His breath to awaken us, His marvelous, righteous, empowering Word to guide us, and His truth fulfilling HOLY SPIRIT to walk beside us every single day. He calls us away from the conformity of this world and invites us into the glorious transformation of a renewed mind, thinking as CHRIST thinks, seeing as CHRIST sees, loving as CHRIST loves.

He showed us, through the life of JESUS CHRIST, exactly how a life fully surrendered to the FATHER looks, walking in love, walking in light, walking by faith, walking in the SPIRIT, and walking worthy of the calling placed upon our lives.

And through it all, through every stumble, every doubt, every valley, and every mountain, GOD has remained faithful. He has been the strength beneath our weakness, the lamp in our darkness, the COMFORTER in our sorrow, and the joy in our every season.

This is not religion. This is relationship. This is not obligation. This is transformation. This is not our striving. This is His grace at work in us.

We are not who we used to be and by His mercy, we are not yet all that we shall be. But we are His. Fully, completely, eternally His, furnished, renewed, and walking in the footsteps of the greatest life ever lived, JESUS CHRIST our LORD, Hallelujah,  Hallelujah, Hallelujah, All honor, praise and glory to our almighty dear HEAVENLY FATHER’ forevermore!

LET’S HUMBLE OURSELVES, AND UPLIFT OUR PRAYERS BEFORE GOD’s THRONE-ROOM:

Dear LORD, almighty HEAVENLY FATHER’, We come before Your Holy throne today not with empty hands, but with gratefully hearts overflowing, because You, O LORD almighty, have been so unspeakably good to us. Thank You for breathing life into us before we ever knew to ask. Thank You for Your empowering, marvelous, righteous Word that has been a lamp when everything around us was dark. Thank You for You’re precious dear HOLY SPIRIT, our Teacher, our COMFORTER, our Guide, who has never once left our side, even when we did not receive Your presence. Dear LORD almighty HEAVENLY FATHER’, we are grateful that You did not leave us to figure out this life on our own. You sent JESUS, the perfect Word made flesh, to walk this earth and show us exactly how it is done. And now, by Your grace, You are writing His footsteps into our own lives, one day, one choice, one surrendered moment at a time. Forgive us, FATHER, for every moment we conformed to this world rather than being transformed by You. Forgive us for the times we walked by sight and forgot to walk by faith. Forgive us for the thoughts we entertained that were beneath the dignity of a renewed mind. We lay them all at Your feet today. Dear LORD, almighty HEAVENLY FATHER’, we ask with confident and grateful hearts, keep renewing us. Keep transforming us. Keep ordering our steps. When we are weary, be our strength. When we are confused, be our clarity. When we are afraid, remind us that Your perfect love casts out all fear. Let us walk in love, boldly and sacrificially, as CHRIST love us. Let us walk in light, transparently and righteously, as CHRIST walked before us. Let us walk by faith, trusting You completely, even when the road is unclear. Let us walk in Your SPIRIT, freely and obediently, bearing fruit that remains for eternity. Dear LORD, almighty HEAVENLY FATHER’, to every soul reading Your marvelous righteous words today, speak life over them. If they are tired, renew their strength. If they are broken, be their healer. If they have wandered, draw them gently back. If they are standing strong, encourage them to keep going. Remind every one of them that You who began a good work in them will be faithful to complete it. May our minds be forever renewed. May our steps forever reflect the Master. May our lives be a living testimony that GOD still furnishes, GOD still transforms, and GOD still walks with His people, just as He always has, and just as He always will.  To You, dear LORD,  almighty HEAVENLY FATHER,be all the  honor, praise and glory, forevermore.  Thank You dear LORD, almighty HEAVENLY FATHER’ Hear our prayers, throughout the mighty, glorious fulfilling name, of JESUS CHRIST; AMEN!

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by CHRIST JESUS throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”
(Ephesians 3:20-21)

Much LoVe, JoY, Peace and Blessings to You, through JESUS CHRIST, our almighty, fulfilling dear LORD, SAVIOUR and REDEEMER!
