Hi and Welcome to a new Bible Study on “Guarding Our Thoughts and Trusting GOD at all times“

Let’s reason and take an inspiring verse by verse look, at the Bible study references below, followed with a summary, and uplifting prayer request, before GOD’s Holy throne-room:

In our daily lives, it’s easy to get caught up in our own thoughts and desires, often leading us to focus on ourselves rather than on GOD’S divine will. This self centeredness can lead to judgmental attitudes towards others, creating division and strife. However, the Bible offers guidance on how to guard our thoughts, to trust GOD, and live in peace with one another.

1. “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
(Proverbs 4:23)

This verse emphasizes the importance of guarding our hearts and minds. Our thoughts and attitudes shape our actions and relationships. By focusing on GOD’S marvelous righteous Word and His divine will, we can align our thoughts with GOD, leading us to a more peaceful and a coherent life.

2. “For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith GOD has distributed to each of you.” (Romans  12:3)

This verse reminds us to have a humble and sober view of ourselves. It’s easy to fall into the trap of self importance, but GOD calls us to recognize our place in His divine plans and to trust in His grace.

3. “Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. There is only one Law giver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you who are you to judge your neighbor?”. (James 4:11-12)

James warns against judging others, reminding us that GOD is the ultimate Judge. When we judge others, we place ourselves in a position that belongs to GOD alone. Instead, we should focus on our own walk with GOD and leave judgment to GOD.

4. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
(Proverbs 3:5-6)

This passage encourages us to trust GOD completely, even when we don’t understand His ways. By submitting to Him, we can find peace and direction in our lives.

Let’s summarize this Bible study together, with a few application points to reflect on:

1.Guard Your Thoughts:

Be aware of your thoughts and redirect them towards GOD’S marvelous righteous word when they become selfcentered or judgmental.

Meditation:

Spend time in quiet reflection, meditating on scriptures that remind you of GOD’S unconstitutional love and grace.

2. Avoid Judgment:

Focus on Yourself Instead of judging others, focus on your own spiritual growth and obedience to GOD. And pray for Others.

When you feel the urge to judge, pray for the person instead. Ask GOD to bless and guide them.

3. Trust GOD, Surrender Control:

Recognize that GOD is in control and trust Him with all your heart and the lives of others.

Seek GODS Divine Will:

Pray for GOD’S guidance and wisdom in all areas of your life.

By guarding our thoughts, avoiding judgment, and trusting GOD, we can live in peace and coherence. This journey requires daily effort and a deepening relationship with GOD. As we align our hearts and minds with His, we become more like Him, reflecting His love and grace to those around us.

Let’s humble ourselves and lift our prayer before GOD’S Holy throne-room:

Dear LORD, almighty HEAVENLY FATHER, Thank You for Your unfailing love and grace. Help us to guard our hearts and minds, focusing on Your will rather than our own desires. Forgive us for the times we have judged others and help us to leave judgment to You. Give us the strength to trust You completely, even when we don’t understand Your ways. Fill us with Your love and peace, and guide us on in our paths towards were you desire us to be. Thank You dear LORD, almighty HEAVENLY FATHER’. We pray this, throughout the mighty, glorious, fulfilling name of JESUS CHRIST! AMEN!
